Borrowing the title of this article from an amazing book by George C. Fraser appropriately titled, Success Runs In Our Race, I believe in this statement whole-heartedly. Dispite the injustices against Africans and her descendants in the diaspora, we have and continue to triumph over adversity. And although we have come a long way in this country, we still have a long way to go towards making the United States of America a country that is truly one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
